Customized workshops with participant designed outcomes

CAT uses theatre, still photos, video, and writing of all kinds to assist groups in the awele-shushingdevelopment of projects that will express their concerns and promote transformation. Some of these have included – development of communication models and public agreements for an NGO; creation of a series of images to support the opening of a community center; a slide show “dream autobiography” with young people in a program for troubled students; a performance piece including images, poetry, writing and rap about becoming “at risk;” non-interactive performances to promote discussion and learning about how to deal with pressures to smoke, drink, and (for younger students) participate in dangerous play.
